Business at Twilight: Come visit the lab!

Abstract

The University of Arizona’s College of Applied Science and Technology is partnering with the Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerce to host an evening on our campus for building relationships through networking with chamber members, University of Arizona faculty and staff, and other community leaders. The MA{VR}X Lab is participating, exhibiting a range of augmented, virtual, and extended reality experiences. Visitors will have the opportunity to fly over Mt. Fuji in Japan, get up close and personal with a blue whale, hold Jupiter in their hands, paint graffiti in thin air, and box in Egypt.

Assistant Professor of Practice in Applied Computing and Computer Science

Dr. Diana Saldana is an educator and researcher. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Arizona in the College of Engineering. As of summer 2021, she is maintaining the MA{VR}X Lab’s satellite space in Yuma.
